West Lane is a full-service show barn that offers lessons for riders interested in hunters, jumpers, and equitation. We also cater to those who have been out of the saddle for a while and want to rediscover their love for horses. Students of all ages and skill levels are welcome!
We are located in North Salem, NY, with our facilities just off Route 84 and a short distance from Route 684. We are only fifteen minutes from the center of Ridgefield, Connecticut. Our clients come from several Connecticut towns, including Westport, Darien, New Canaan, Greenwich, Norwalk, Stamford, Ridgefield, Redding, and Danbury. We also serve areas in New York, such as North Salem, South Salem, Waccabuc, Bedford, Chappaqua, Katonah, Brewster, Brooklyn, New York City, Rye, Purchase, Scarsdale, White Plains, and Mamaroneck.

- Annika Das and Lusinus Van De Eijkhof clean swept the Modified 2’6 Eq, winning every round and the flat for champion! they also won the M&S 2’6” Medal, Reserve Champions of the low child 2’6” hunter, and in the classic!

- Ana Failla and Contact put in beautiful rounds at the National Horse Show competing at their first Hamel Finals together!
- Ana and Contact also had great jumping rounds in the 14-15 Eq, including a top 13 finish and call back in the flat!
- Kristina Christiansen and Cordoba 73 had scores of 84 in the first round, and an 82.25 in the second round to end up 6th 💚 overall in the THIS NHS Adult Equitation Championship 36+!
- Then on Saturday, they were 9th 🩶 overall in the $10,000 Adult Amateur Hunter Classic!
- Kristina and Dora also picked up a 7th 💜 place finish in the Adult Eq 36+ Flat!

- They were also selected to be on the Connecticut Team 3 for Challenge of the States putting in some great rounds.
- Ana Failla and Contact had 2 amazing rounds in the NEHC Jr Medal Final and the IHSA/USHJA 3’3 Medal Final. They also had a great trip in the Jr Equitation 15-17 Sec B!
- Ana Failla and Contact wrapped up Jump Seat Finals with two great rounds and a flat score of 77.55

- Jessica Walsh and LUSINUS VAN DE EIJKHOF were o/f in the Junior EQ 3’ and had top ribbons in the 15-17 Children’s hunters, including a o/f.
- Emily Penny and West Lane’s Champlain Timbrel were in the Opportunity Short Stirrup EQ Flat and had top ribbons in the hunters.

NAYC was a very good one for Kaitlyn Link and FF Happy Hour 21, earning team gold for the second year in a row and 7th individually!
